Waterfall Lagoon
Waterfall Lagoon shows Lucien Aubry carrying his travel-poster language deep into the tropics. A tall waterfall tumbles from jungle cliffs into a glassy turquoise pool, framed by flat-vector palms and ferns, with a single canoe gliding across the water and birds wheeling beneath a glowing golden sun. Aubry works without outlines, building depth from clean overlapping planes of jade, teal, ochre and coral, then laying a soft paper grain over all to evoke a treasured vintage poster.
