Tea Plantation
Tea Plantation is one of the most atmospheric works in Lucien Aubry's Voyage Modernism. Terraced tea fields curve in rhythmic green stripes up the flanks of misty mountains, a few pickers stoop in silhouette, and a small pavilion perches on a ridge beneath layered peaks and a pale rising sun. Aubry works without outlines, building soft depth from overlapping planes of green, jade and warm grey, then lays a fine paper grain over all for the glow of a vintage poster. Serene, misty and quietly exotic, it captures the cool stillness of a highland plantation at dawn in pure flat design.
An original oil painting on canvas by Lucien Aubry, painted to order — never a reproduction. Vintage flat-vector travel posters — the world's great cities and coasts in bold geometric colour, glowing suns and warm mid-century palettes with a soft paper grain.
