River Bazaar
River Bazaar is Lucien Aubry's most bustling, sun-soaked scene. Wooden boats laden with oranges and bananas crowd a glowing river while stilt houses and golden temple spires line the banks, palms lean overhead and a lantern hangs from a post, all beneath a warm setting sun. Aubry builds the lively scene from clean planes of coral, teal, ochre and amber with no outlines, then lays a fine paper grain over all for the warmth of a vintage poster.
