Coral Atoll
Coral Atoll is Lucien Aubry's lightest, breeziest tropical scene. A small striped lighthouse stands on a curve of white sand where leaning palms arch over clear turquoise shallows, a sailboat drifts offshore and gulls wheel beneath a big soft sun. Aubry strips the composition to essentials — clean planes of teal, coral, cream and sand with no outlines — and lays a fine paper grain over all to evoke a classic travel poster. Airy, sun-warmed and utterly relaxed, it captures the simple paradise of a remote atoll in pure flat design — a postcard from somewhere impossibly calm.
