Coastal Beacon
Coastal Beacon turns a simple seascape into a hymn of light. A lone sailboat rides a rolling golden-hour sea, its sail and hull and the cresting waves all rendered as bold mosaic tiles in white, ochre, teal and deep blue, while the sky above burns through a tessellated sunset of amber and rose. Marisol Vey lets the dark leaded lines carry the swell of the water, so the whole surface heaves and glints like the real thing seen through coloured glass. It is a study in solitude and horizon, the small bright sail a note of human courage against the vast mosaic of sea and sky.
