Pinball

Pinball is one of the most dynamic works in Juno Pike's Chromatic Pop. Circles, rings and bumper-like shapes flow on a lively diagonal in orange, lime, cobalt and pink, every form ringed in bold black, a curving dotted track sending the eye ricocheting across the canvas. Pike builds a real sense of bounce and momentum, the shapes seeming to ping off one another like a ball in play. The flat vivid colour and crisp edges give it an arcade brightness.
