Mosaic is Juno Pike at her most tightly composed. A dense tessellating grid of squares, half-circles and quarter-rounds locks together across the canvas in lime, orange, purple, blue and turquoise, every cell ringed in crisp black, a scatter of polka-dots adding sparkle. Pike fits the shapes edge to edge like a kaleidoscopic tiled floor, balancing the bright colours so no corner overwhelms another.
