Lavender Tide
Lavender Tide carries Liquid Horizons into bloom. Kaia Sterling pours rows of lavender fields into glossy marbled ribbons — waves of violet, lilac and sage braiding across the canvas toward a distant farmhouse, the rows flowing like a purple tide under a soft gradient sky. The technique fuses acrylic-pour fluid art with op-art rhythm, the planted rows becoming hypnotic parallel curves, the landscape legible yet entirely liquid. The cool violet palette warmed by golden light gives it a fragrant, Provençal calm. Sterling makes the patient geometry of the fields ripple and flow. Vivid, glossy and serene, it turns a lavender farm into a tide of colour. It is summer in bloom liquefied — the fields poured, swirled and set flowing.
