Delta Currents
Delta Currents views the Liquid Horizons world from above. Kaia Sterling renders a river delta seen from the sky as flowing marbled paint — channels of blue water braiding through glossy ribbons of orange and ochre land, the whole estuary swirling like poured pigment toward a distant sea. The aesthetic fuses aerial landscape with acrylic-pour fluid art and op-art rhythm, the branching waterways becoming hypnotic parallel lines of colour. A real delta stays legible — water, sandbanks, the reach toward open sea — yet every surface is liquid. The complementary blue-and-orange clash gives it electric energy. Vivid, glossy and intricate, it turns a satellite view into pure flowing pattern. It is the meeting of river and ocean liquefied — the delta itself poured, swirled and set.
An original oil painting on canvas by Kaia Sterling, painted to order — never a reproduction. Landscapes dissolved into flowing marbled paint — glossy ribbons of saturated colour, op-art rhythm and liquid horizons.
