Dune Flow

Dune Flow brings Liquid Horizons to the desert. Kaia Sterling pours rolling dunes into glossy marbled ribbons of amber, gold and rust, the sand's curves braiding and flowing like liquid across the canvas, with thin veins of shadow and a smooth gradient sky above. The technique fuses acrylic-pour fluid art with op-art rhythm — parallel flowing lines that turn the desert's swells into hypnotic movement — while the dunes stay legible beneath the abstraction. The warm monochrome palette, all amber and rust, gives the work a glowing, golden-hour heat. Sterling makes the slow geology of sand feel suddenly fluid and alive. Vivid, glossy and rhythmic, it turns a desert into a sea of poured colour. It is the dune liquefied — heat and sand swirled into pure flowing pattern.
