Cascade

Cascade brings Liquid Horizons to falling water. Kaia Sterling renders a waterfall as glossy marbled ribbons — white, teal and deep blue braiding and plunging down a cliff of flowing ochre and green, the spray dissolving into liquid op-art rhythm at the base. The technique fuses acrylic pouring with the hypnotic parallel curves of op-art, the cascade reading clearly as falling water yet every surface poured and swirled. The cool blues against warm rock give it electric contrast. Sterling captures motion itself — the rush and the fall — as flowing pigment frozen mid-pour. Vivid, glossy and kinetic, it turns a waterfall into pure liquid colour. It is water falling, liquefied twice over — nature's flow rendered as poured paint.

An original oil painting on canvas by Kaia Sterling, painted to order — never a reproduction. Landscapes dissolved into flowing marbled paint — glossy ribbons of saturated colour, op-art rhythm and liquid horizons.
