Desert Moonrise
Desert Moonrise is the work that defines Soren Aalto's Gilded Strata. A night desert unfolds in smooth overlapping bands of deep navy and midnight blue, each ridge separated by a thin seam of shimmering gold leaf, while the angular silhouettes of saguaro cacti stand sentinel along the crests. Above, a pale gold moon lifts into a sky scattered with hundreds of tiny golden stars.
