Two Women by the Lagoon
Two Tahitian women seated on rose-ocra sand, front view, side by side (one left, one right of centre). Right Woman about 26, profile turned to companion, one leg folded under, darker ocra-rose terracotta skin with copper undertone, strong oval face, black hair in low chignon with vermilion Hibiscus, large black eyes turned to her companion in silent conversation, dark magenta-violet pareo with large yellow, white stylised florals (chest to knees). Small wooden bowl between them with yellow mango, orange papaya, green lime.
