The Lady with the White Dove
A young woman of about 26 seated in a high-backed ornate armchair, gently cradling a small white dove in her cupped hands at her lap, gazing softly downward at the bird with a tender Madonna-like calm. Platinum-blonde hair pulled up in a high loose chignon with a few delicate curls escaping at the temples, a single ivory peony tucked at the crown. She wears a long flowing high-collared Emerald-green silk gown densely embroidered with multicolor floral motifs — small pink roses, golden sunflowers, deep purple irises, white lilies of the valley, soft turquoise butterflies — like a wearable spring garden. Edge-to-edge ornament.
