Lone Wolf
Lone Wolf is a portrait of watchful solitude. A wolf's head emerges from a grey concrete wall in stencil and spray, its eyes flashing electric blue through a storm of black drips and white splatter that seem to dissolve the creature back into the surface. The wolf has always stood for independence and instinct, and Kade gives it the brooding intensity of a street mural — half emblem, half apparition. The controlled chaos of the spray lends the image a feral energy held just short of disorder. Striking, untamed and quietly commanding, it fixes the viewer with that blue stare. It is the lone spirit of the city, rendered in pure street idiom.
An original oil painting on canvas by Marcus Kade, painted to order — never a reproduction. Urban street art — spray paint, stencil and oilstick over concrete-textured canvas, with drips, overspray and raw graphic energy.
