Dawn on the Pond
A close-up overhead view of a calm pond surface at early dawn, entirely covered with floating water lily pads in soft sage and emerald green, scattered with about ten open blooms — half pale rose-pink with golden centres, half warm cream-white with peach hearts. The water reflects a soft lavender-pink dawn sky with hints of duck-egg blue and pale gold sun glow concentrated in the upper-right corner. Reflections of unseen weeping willow branches drape across the right edge in feathery cool green strokes. A single tiny turquoise dragonfly hovers above the lower-left water surface.
