Autumn Seedheads
Autumn Seedheads is the most tactile work in Linnea Holm's botanical series. Dried grasses, seed pods, thistles and spent flower-heads rise as bold flat shapes in rust, ochre, umber and cream against a warm pale ground, their delicate forms drawn with crisp lines. Holm works in the modern flat-illustration idiom of mid-century botanical posters, distilling the late-season garden to elegant silhouette and warm muted colour.
