Jungle Chorus
Jungle Chorus is the founding image of Linnea Holm's Botanical Modernism. A dense chorus of stylised foliage and flowers rises from the lower edge against a warm cream ground — banana leaves, ferns, spear-shaped blades and bold blooms in red, ochre and mustard, all rendered as flat, clean shapes with crisp edges and fine hand-drawn veins. Holm works in the contemporary flat-illustration idiom descended from mid-century botanical poster design and Scandinavian graphic art, where nature is distilled to bold colour and elegant shape. The sophisticated sage-green, black and terracotta palette gives it a calm, editorial warmth; the generous negative space at the top lets the composition breathe.
