Neon Pulse

At twilight the city street hums with life, its cobblestones slick with recent rain, reflecting a cascade of neon signs that flicker in time with an unseen aurora overhead. The aurora, a river of colour that ripples across the sky, weaves between the illuminated façades, its greens and purples merging with the artificial glow of signage to create a kaleidoscopic tapestry of light. In Spectral Harmonics terms, the neon pulses become visual beats, each flash resonating with the aurora’s shifting hues, producing a rhythm that is both urban and celestial. The wet pavement mirrors this interplay, doubling the intensity of the colours and adding depth to the scene, while the surrounding architecture, rendered in muted greys, recedes to allow the luminous spectacle to dominate. The composition captures a fleeting moment where technology and nature converge, the city’s frenetic energy harmonising with the silent, ethereal dance of the aurora, suggesting a shared pulse that throbs beneath both steel and sky. The effect is an evocative, almost musical tableau of light, colour and reflection.

An original oil painting on canvas by Eira Solis, painted to order — never a reproduction. A synesthetic approach that translates sound frequencies into layered pigment resonances, creating luminous, rhythm‑driven canvases.
