Tree of Life

Tree of Life is the work that defines Mirabel Crane's Filigree Vectorism. A great tree rises at the centre, its trunk a mass of swirling carved spirals that flow up into broad, stylised green leaves, a single small bird nestled among the branches. Crane flanks it with perfectly symmetrical golden damask flourishes and a pair of radiant sunburst medallions, all set on a soft green-to-blue gradient above warm, layered earth dunes. The whole image breathes the ornamental grace of art nouveau while keeping a clean, modern flatness. Balanced, intricate and quietly spiritual, it turns the ancient tree-of-life symbol into an elegant decorative icon — a serene emblem of growth and renewal.

An original oil painting on canvas by Mirabel Crane, painted to order — never a reproduction. Ornate art-nouveau decorative art — a single subject in intricate swirling linework framed by damask flourishes and radiant suns, on soft gradient grounds.
