Tideline reads the canvas the way one reads a coastline. Broad horizontal sweeps of sand, ivory and pale stone are laid down with the palette knife and then scraped, dragged and layered until the surface carries the physical memory of every pass of the blade, while a faint seam of gold marks the horizon where light meets matter.
