The Bridge in the Rain

A traditional Japanese arched wooden bridge seen in side-oblique view, crossing a Prussian-blue river below. Five stylised kimono figures walk across the bridge under open oiled-paper umbrellas — vermilion red, indigo blue, two ochre, one tea-green — compact figures with bowed heads, stylised legs, kimono draped with small inner patterns. Background opposite bank with low grey-roofed houses and wind-bent pines. Pale grey-blue sky with darker cloud bands.
