Madame in Sables

A regal woman of about 38 turned three-quarter view, draped in a luxurious deep-black sable fur coat painted with crystalline geometric folds — fur rendered as sculptural facets, not soft. Strong oval-square face, high pronounced cheekbones, deep emerald-green eyes, defined dark arched brows, full wine-bordeaux lips, porcelain skin with sharp shadow contour, imperious knowing expression. Jet-black hair swept back under a black silk Art Deco cloche hat with a single large diamond brooch. A long sapphire-blue silk scarf drapes from one shoulder.
