Starlit Dunes

‘Starlit Dunes’ transports the viewer to a desert landscape illuminated by a meteor shower, with sand ripples forming constellations, all through the lens of Filigree Vectorism. Voss employs a layered approach of fine vector lines to depict the dunes, each ripple rendered as a subtle, undulating stroke that mimics the natural flow of wind‑shaped sand. The meteor shower is conveyed by bright, linear trajectories of light, their tails rendered as tapered gradients that dissolve into the night sky. In a striking synthesis, the sand itself is overlaid with delicate constellations, each star a precise point of vector brilliance that aligns with the meteor paths, forging a harmonious link between celestial and terrestrial realms. The colour palette is dominated by deep sapphire and sable, interrupted by the luminous whites and soft golds of the meteors, creating a stark yet poetic contrast.
